*Certified ADA products, or those in accordance with the 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act, are designed and manufactured to make their use safer, easier and more comfortable for people with disabilities and reduced mobility. Currently, this is the only standard of its kind in America and is applied on a voluntary basis by manufacturers. The Canadian government is currently working towards this goal since the adoption of the Accessibility Canada Act in 2019, aiming to make the country a mobility-friendly environment by January 1, 2040.*

Cooktops


We offer safe and customized induction cooktops for individuals with reduced mobility. They feature a surface that eliminates the risk of burns; as induction heats only the cookware, not the actual cooktop. The controls are conveniently located at the front with brightly coloured, contrasting lighting to enhance usability for those with visual impairments. Additionally, they offer Wi-Fi connectivity for secure mobile control.

Built-in Ovens


For use by individuals with reduced mobility, standard ovens with their top-to-bottom opening doors pose risks and usability challenges that should be avoided. Several of our ovens provide a straightforward and effective alternative with doors that open like a refrigerator or feature French double doors. These appliances also make your life easier with convenient front-facing controls that are simple to access and use, or they can be controlled via Wi-Fi from a mobile device.

Hoods

When it comes to ventilation, having a range hood at wheelchair-accessible height is often impossible unless it's integrated into the stove. The solution: a simple wireless remote or Wi-Fi access from a mobile device or personal assistant that enables easy control for anyone with reduced mobility.

Washers & Dryers


Many of our laundry appliances are ADA*-compliant for the comfort and safety of individuals with reduced mobility. They all feature front-loading – an absolute must – as well as controls within reach or operable via a mobile device.

Refrigerators


Several options are available. Whether it's ADA*-certified or not, the ideal fridge should have a control panel at a maximum height of 48 inches (122 cm) and should be easy to operate, with doors and drawers opening without excessive effort. Built-in models provide efficient and elegant solutions with stainless steel drawers that slide smoothly and are easy to clean.

Dishwashers

Similar to conventional stoves, dishwashers with their top-to-bottom opening doors can present challenges. The perfect solution: a built-in drawer-style model that can be installed at your desired height. It offers easy access for swift loading, fold-down racks for larger dishes, user-friendly controls and Wi-Fi connectivity.
