Corbeil Appliances is also not responsible for any communication made by the manufacturers regarding these elements.
It is important that every customer is aware of the support offered directly by the manufacturers of the brands carried by Corbeil. These manufacturers are committed to continuing to assist and support our customers. To learn more about each manufacturer’s position regarding the availability guarantee, please select the brand of your interest.
At Corbeil Appliances, we are here for you — with the same trust and commitment, today and into the future.

FAQ
What is Bill 29 and when does it take effect?
Bill 29 is a new consumer protection law in Quebec that strengthens the guarantee of availability for replacement parts, repair services, and maintenance information. It takes effect on October 5, 2025.
How does Bill 29 affect my appliance purchase?
It ensures that manufacturers must clearly state whether parts, repair services, and technical information will be available for your appliance.
What is Corbeil’s role in Bill 29?
Corbeil Appliances will continue to guide you through your purchase with transparency. We will provide the manufacturer’s information about parts, services, and support before you finalize your purchase.
Will Corbeil guarantee the availability of parts and services?
No. The responsibility lies with the manufacturers. Corbeil cannot guarantee ongoing availability, but we will always make sure you have access to the manufacturer’s official information.
What do manufacturers need to provide?
They must publish, online and in product manuals, whether parts, repair services, and maintenance information are fully available, partially available, or not available.
Will appliance warranties change?
Most manufacturers continue to offer warranties covering parts and repair services for a certain period, under specific conditions.
Will repair costs be fair?
Yes. Bill 29 requires that the price of parts and repair services remain reasonable and not discourage customers from repairs.
Does this apply to online purchases?
Yes. Before completing an online purchase, Corbeil will display the manufacturer’s availability information with a direct link.
How can I learn more?
You can consult each brand’s policy on our website or visit the Office de la protection du consommateur website for official details.
