INGREDIENTS

3 ripe bananas
1/2 cup (120 ml) vegetable oil
1/2 cup (100 g) sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups (190 g) all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
A pinch of salt
1/2 cup (60 g) chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, etc.)

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper

2. In a large bowl, mash ripe bananas with a fork until smooth puree.

3. Add vegetable oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the banana puree, then mix well until all ingredients are combined.

4. In another bowl, mix all-purpose flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt.

5. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the banana mixture, stirring gently until the batter is smooth. Be careful not to overmix.

6. Add chopped nuts to the batter and gently fold them in to distribute evenly.

7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the surface with a spatula if necessary.

8. Place the pan in the center of the preheated oven and bake the banana nut bread for about 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

9. Once baked, remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then, transfer it to a cooling rack to cool completely before slicing.

10. Once cooled, slice the banana nut bread into generous slices and enjoy it with a cup of coffee or a glass of milk for a delicious snack!
